I was really at a loss as to what to write about today. The fact is I have come across so much great stuff lately, all of which I am sure you will eventually see, but to actually choose was tough!

I decided to go a more crafty route today. With Halloween this weekend, there is still time to get your craft on and celebrate!

Recently I stumbled across Dana over at Made, and I am in LOVE. Those of you who have been blogging for a while can roll your eyes now. What can I say? I am a newbie!!!

A couple of weeks ago she wrote a great blog about dying plain white onesies. At the time I thought it was such a great idea, so naturally I bookmarked it for a later date.

Then she went ahead and outdid herself! Waiting for me on my blogroll this morning was her latest stroke of genius, which incorporated her dyed onesies with stenciled freezer paper patterns. You have got to be joking me – this is just too cute for words!

So where do I go from here you ask on Tutorial Tuesday? I have been wondering about this freezer paper bit, so I decided to look into it…

Initially I was looking into using freezer paper to print directly ONTO the fabric, bypassing the painting process. This is great for making labels, or anything else you might want to cut out and then sew onto what you are making (quilt, applique, etc.). But doesn’t work if you want to print something directly onto a more complicated piece of fabric – like say a T-Shirt.

So after a little research, I was able to come across how to use freezer paper like Dana did here and put that stencil directly onto your garment.

It really doesn’t look so hard, now does it?!! So my challenge to you?

With coloring pages like the ones found HERE, you too can create something unique for the festivities! It’s not too late to make something fun and unique for this weekend!

Want to prolong the fun? There is always Thanksgiving and Christmas. :)

Happy crafting everyone!
