Down on my Back

I apologize for the lack of posts.

I threw out my back Monday night while picking up my 19 month old, and haven’t been able to move since. Went to the ER yesterday, as we are pregnant and the OBGYN wanted me to be checked out. Was my first time riding in an ambulance, felt very official – lol. Baby is well, heartbeat nice and strong. Nothing they can do for me though as all medicines for this are too strong when pregnant, can’t XRay, etc. So they sent me home with a ‘rest and get better soon!’

But things are getting better, was able to make it to the bathroom myself this morning – YEAH! And things will be getting better and better from here.

I am blessed to have a husband who works from home, and was able to drop everything at a moments notice to care for our 2 girls and myself when this happened. He has truly been wonderful, been my crutch (literally), brought me all of my meals in bed, and has taken care of both of our girls (and one of them has been sick too with a fever!).

But BOOOOO!!! I was working on the cutest little Winter Wonderland creation when this happened, and keep thinking about how I am in the middle of it as I lay in bed – and it is all over the floor in my sewing nook area. Ah well…such is life! Hopefully I can get to finish it by Friday, not too much left to do – the lining and attaching the lining. Then of course the photos :)

I guess I did ask for more rest, just didn’t expect it to come in this form…lol.

I hope to be back real soon!!!
