While Pattern Remix was going on here,
I had projects going on in a few other places that you might have missed!
I am still hanging with my girls over at The Girl Creative on Tuesdays, where I showed off how to make an Inverted Pleat Peek-a-boo Pocket as well as Lina’s Baby Dress.
I was also blog stomping over at Simple Simon & Co. for their Vintage Crafter’s Challenge. I was given some awesome vintage materials and notions to see what I could come up with, which led me to this awesome Vintage Challenge Jumper…
It was my first time working with an invisible zipper, and I have gotten much better since then now that I have figured it out a bit more. It’s not so invisible in this jumper – lol.
I am pretty much in love with this project. Made entirely from scraps, with just a big ole mess of hot glue, and I have a new masterpiece for my wall!

But my favorite part about this was the embroidered bias tape loop straps that I made to go with the vintage buttons. I show you how to do that in the tutorial…
And last, but certainly not least, is the Homage to Starry Night that premiered in the Scrap Your Stash Series over at Living with Punks!
