Perhaps You Missed It…

While Pattern Remix was going on here,
I had projects going on in a few other places that you might have missed!

I am still hanging with my girls over at The Girl Creative on Tuesdays, where I showed off how to make an Inverted Pleat Peek-a-boo Pocket as well as Lina’s Baby Dress.

I was also blog stomping over at Simple Simon & Co. for their Vintage Crafter’s Challenge. I was given some awesome vintage materials and notions to see what I could come up with, which led me to this awesome Vintage Challenge Jumper…

It was my first time working with an invisible zipper, and I have gotten much better since then now that I have figured it out a bit more. It’s not so invisible in this jumper – lol.

But my favorite part about this was the embroidered bias tape loop straps that I made to go with the vintage buttons. I show you how to do that in the tutorial

And last, but certainly not least, is the Homage to Starry Night that premiered in the Scrap Your Stash Series over at Living with Punks!

I am pretty much in love with this project. Made entirely from scraps, with just a big ole mess of hot glue, and I have a new masterpiece for my wall!

While it has been fun having the Pattern Remix Series going on, I must admit – it feels good to be home.

Thanks so much for stopping by everyone, and until next time – Happy Sewing :)

You are a busy little lady. I can’t wait to hop over for the peek-a-boo pocket tutorial. I’m also extremely impressed with your Starry night piece. Great job.
