We had scooter time…
Ben got a new toy that couldn’t wait until Christmas…
Because yes, I was the crazy woman at Toys R Us at 5am for Black Friday sales. But look at him, he loves it…
Chloe got to show Madeline exactly how to jump into a leaf pile…
Madeline caught on pretty quick…
We found teeny tiny favorite leaves…
There was LOTS and LOTS of Daddy play time, their favorite…
And almost every time I picked up my camera and pointed it at Ben, he would make this face…
I think he’s onto me.
So outside of the fact that we didn’t actually have a turkey on Thanksgiving (you mean they need to defrost for MORE than 2 days?! Yeah – try pulling out frozen giblets!). We just pretended we were vegetarians for the day, loaded up on boat loads of side dishes, and had a fantastic weekend!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…
Happy Sewing!

That face of your little one when you try to take a picture: Priceless! What a doll.
Have a lovely week.
Incredible pictures! Looks like Ben has perfected his smolder. We ate chicken on Thanksgiving because we decided turkey is for turkeys! The sides are the best part anyway! Glad you had a great day!
Great subjects and great photography..you captured some fun right there.
Fabulous pictures!! Look like a terrific autumn day
Oh! Just noticed your header change…love it!!
LOVE these pictures!! I cooked our turkey yesterday and had a “fun” time pulling out frozen giblets too. haha. Wish I could buy a turkey without the giblets and neck- one that’s ready to go.
We ha a 14 or 16 pound turkey (apparently was too smallaccording to my uncle. Last year the turkey was only 11 pounds) but we had to take it out Monday mid AM to make sure was thawed by Thursday.
