Kirstin and Jordan from Kojo Designs are such an inspiration to all of us bloggers, they love to make do on a shoe-string budget – and that strikes a chord among all of us who are trying to do the same. Their designs and knock offs are always sensational, and of course when you combine that with their incredible photography skills you have a fantastic blog on your hands.
I fell in love with these sisters during Season 1 of Project Run & Play, where their creations were just fantastic! And I haven’t looked away since…
Kojo also hosts some of the most fabulous Series. Last Summer they knocked my socks off with their Color My Summer Series (and I have my fingers crossed that they do it again this year!)…
There is just something about color that is so fantastic, I was glued to the computer screen for the entire Series!
So without further ado, let’s see what Kirstin has on her New Year’s ReSewLution list…
Hey friends at Me Sew Crazy! I am Kirstin, half of the team that blogs over at kojodesigns. We adore Jessica, love Me Sew Crazy, and are so excited to participate in the New Year’s Re*SEW*lution series.
We have several sewing related things on our 2012 bucket list, the top item being- “Use that lovely pattern collection!”
See, I am a bit of a pattern junkie. I have untried, but lovely (and I mean lo-ovely), patterns from Whimsy Couture, The Scientific Seamstress, Violette Field Threads, Gingercake, Little Dress Pattern, AND Pink Poodle Bows. And, goshdarnit, those gems need to be put to good use.
I hope this is the first of many “I tried a new pattern” posts. Because, to be honest, these little knit leggings (pattern by Whimsy Couture) are fabulous. So fabulous, in fact, that I made another pair (in gray… sorry, no pics).
Thanks again for having us, Jessica. New friends, come on by kojodesigns anytime. And if you want to join us on our pattern-sewing adventure this year, we’d love that!
Kirstin, I believe you and I may have the same problem! I just can never seem to help myself from buying patterns I fall in love with, and they so often sit there in my growing to-do list pile. With the little nudge from you, I am going to force myself to sit down and make some of these – I love them too much to go unused!!! Thank you so much for this post!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…Happy Sewing!
