Pattern Pile, Oliver + S Jump Rope Dress...

Photobucket

In case you missed it, last week I declared war on my pattern pile! So slowly but surely, I am trying to work my way through an ever growing stash that deserves to see the light of day. After all, these patterns are fantastic or I wouldn't have bought them in the first place!!!

Today we have Oliver + S with their adorable Jump Rope Dress.

I bought this pattern a while back, and have been meaning to make it for some time now. I simply knew it would be the perfect every day dress for my daughter, and I was right!

The jump rope dress was easy to sew together, with truly fantastic instructions. It was Professional with a capital 'P', and I will definitely use it again.

And now I am even more excited to make the other couple of Oliver + S patterns I happen to have in my stash...yeah!

Using some fabric my Mom had given me as a gift, I made this dress for Chloe...

I did make one slight alteration, making the sleeves 3/4 in length. The pattern comes with the option for short or long, so it was easy enough to make an educated guess for 3/4.

And it may not look like it in the pictures, but Chloe loves it too...

I was trying to play with natural window light.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time...

Happy Sewing!
