Color Block Fiesta, Spring Collection 2012…

IMG_3576

And here we are, the final piece of the Spring Collection at last. If I had planned better, I would have saved something with a tutorial for my grand finale! Lol, but as usual – I didn’t have my ‘smart hat’ on.

This last shirt is definitely another favorite, there is just something about the colors white and blue together that are soooooooo right.

I had an old shirt that I had bought for myself off the clearance rack at Old Navy last summer, and never wore. Every time I put it on I felt like I was supposed to be going to a fiesta or something…

I think this is a vast improvement.

Once again, I didn’t think the tute was altogether necessary. Just another re-size job, while attaching a different fabric to the bottom of the shirt to give the shirt a little something extra.

Mom, are we done yet? I think I see Chloe playing over there with MY toys…

This is her new thing…pouting. Any of you have any experience with pouters?

Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…

Happy Sewing!

haha! my littlest is a pouter, screamer and a pusher right now. the first two never hit the terrible 2′s…this one is making up for them!

i hear color blocking is so in this year.

That’s cute! I am obsessed with color blocking right now. OBSESSED.

On another note, I have three pouty girls (unfortunately, they learned from the best!) They don’t use it so much on me though, because it doesn’t work on me. I just ignore it. Daddy, on the other hand, gets a lot more pouting!

Super Cute! And yes Abbey is the pouting queen. Usually for the camera more than anything else, she just hates getting her picture taken… It’s a good thing I “never” have to take her picture ;)
