Family Silliness….

We have been potty training this week. Things have been

But of course in the midst of it all, there has been silliness sprinkled in.

Ben loves his bath lately.  I get such a kick watching him splashing the water, which of course makes the water go in his eyes – and then watching him shake his head furiously to get it out.  Lol.  He also loves it when I play peek-a-boo on the side of the bath, which is how I got this picture.

I whipped this quick hat up for Chloe using Lily Giggle’s Azalea Cloche and some ruffle fabric I had laying around.  Took me all of 5 minutes!  Gotta love that.  Why was I making her a blue hat you ask?  Someone needs to dress up as a Dr. Seuss character this Friday for the big man’s birthday.  Guess who wants to be ‘Thing 1′…

And that’s the stinker that I have been trying to get potty trained. This may as well be the face that she is giving me the whole time. So far it’s Madeline = 4, Mommy = 0.  What can I say, girl loves her Mr. Potato Head…and her diapers.  But we are working on it!

Looking for more silliness?

We’ve got kids quotes coming this Saturday…you guys sure have some funny kids!!!  I have been cracking up with every e-mail that comes in.

Here is one gem I heard last week from my Madeline…

And of course this was on the day that the landlord was stopping by.  Murphy’s Law.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…
