I think this classic shirt is simply superb.
It is simple enough that anyone can make it, and adds such nice little features to truly make it stand out from the rest. I particularly love how she made the gathered cap sleeves, I would have never thought to do it that way!
*Ummm…Mom, what am I supposed to do with this big pink umbrella? Its not even raining out.*
*I know, I will be Mary Poppins!*
Yeah, so those photos didn’t quite work out. I guess umbrellas are kind of big and buly for a child to handle skillfully. Lol. Luckily about 10 feet away there was this cute little piece of lattice and bushes, so it all worked out in the end…
Thank you so much to Jess from Craftiness is Not Optional for continuing to create such fantastic tutorials and sew alongs that inspire us to create.

Happy Sewing!

this is so cute! Well, done – like everything you do
Adorable! My girls wanted to wear their Leah tunic just about every day last summer, LOL. I didn’t even think of trying it in knit…great job! It’s super cute!
I wish there were little girls in my family to sew for. Everyone has boys! Your little one is absolutely adorable! What a sunshiney smile!
aw thanks Jessica! I love how it turned out! I’m going to have to make one in knit this summer, for sure!
I love your thrifted knits!! whoo hoo!! haha… I have no idea why I said “whoo hoo!” maybe it is because it is Friday! lol
She is the cutest! You have the best thrifted knits! I made one out of knit and my husband said it’s one of his favorites of Ansley’s clothes. I totally need to make another.
