When I was making this collection I was trying to find things that would be cute, yet easy at the same time. As many of you know, with 3 kids – finding time to sew the complicated things doesn’t always make the top of my list.
Sometimes I just want something that will be fast, easy, comfortable, and a real kid-pleaser. Because at the end of the day, if my child isn’t going to wear it – it wasn’t worth making it!
That’s where the Notion Skirt came in.
This fun layered skirt is super fun, easy to make, and is sure to please the little girl in your life…
Let’s get down to the tutorial. To make this fun and easy skirt simply…
*I really need to start spell checking my images better – sorry, that is supposed to say ‘Fabric’ width above*
For determining the length of your elastic, I typically cut a piece about 70% the size of my child’s waist circumference.
And that’s it! How simple is that?!!
Later on in the week I will show you how to make the lace shirt that goes with it…it is easier than it looks!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…
Happy Sewing!
