CONTEST CLOSED – Novica Giveaway {$75!!!}

Have you heard of Novica yet???

Novica, in association with National Geographic, is an incredible global artisan community giving artists around the world a place to come together and share their gorgeous creations. You can find beautiful one of a kind items that you cannot find anywhere else, from some of the very best artists!

But what sets Novica apart is their personal connection with these artists. With each product comes a list of the artist who created it, as well as their personal story. You can learn more about the Country they are from, more about the artist themselves, and really feel connected to the lovely creation you are buying. As if you are taking a piece of their part of the world home with you.

Whether you are looking for Home Decor from Bali, jewelry from India, artwork from Brasil, or a purse from the Andes – Novica has it.

Their pendant bracelet collection had my jaw dropping…

And you all know my love for a good silk shawl

 There is just so much to look at, that when they offered to send me something to review I found myself browsing their site for hours (yes, HOURS!) trying to decide.

I ended up going the practical route, as I was really on the market for a new belt.  But did I go with the gorgeous distressed white leather belt from Bali?

Or the more artistic route with a gorgeous embroidered wool belt from from the Andes?

Well, I guess you can tell from my pictures which belt I ended up choosing…

The Midnight Blue Bouquet Wool belt from Joucelyn Pasara is absolutely beautiful. The woven flower and star design is absolutely dripping with color…

And after reading a little bit about Joucelyn and how she became an artist working with these gorgeous textiles, I knew it was meant to be mine. I felt like I connected with her story, and wanted to have this piece of Peru home with me.

It arrived in about a week, beautifully packaged…

And I was blown away after opening it up, thrilled to have this gorgeous work in my hands…

    I went to their website. WOw what amazing items! I’m a sucker for jewlery and my favorite piece was the Sea Breeze Pearl Choker. Lovely!

    There are so many great products, but I think I’d have to go with one of Neide Ambrosio’s soda-pop top accessories – they are amazing and so unique!
