Summer Fun Photos, Week 6 – NYC Family & Friends

It was so nice to go home again and spend time with family and friends, it had been almost 2 years since I had been back. Definitely way too long, I don’t think I will let so much time stretch by again. I just love being there and seeing everyone so much, and I have over 1,000+ photos to prove it! HA!

Here is just a sampling from our trip.

There was lots of Gamma love.

And we had a blast playing in the backyard every day.

Ben found joy in the little things of life.

As did my Mom – like letting your granddaughter style your hair, and then baking cookies together

We went to pool parties with friends.

To Playland at night.

Ate the biggest cotton candy I had ever seen.

And got too much Sun. I found out that spending the afternoon at a pool party, and the evening at a theme park will do this to any child – no matter how much sunscreen you put on them! Luckily she woke up the next day totally fine. Yikes!

We helped another little man turn 1, my nephew…

 Had loads of arts and crafts time.

And cousins! You thought me getting a pic of my 3 is bad, let’s now try 5 under 5…

I love my brothers and sister.  This picture captures all of our personalities so well.

And we even got to spend some time with Great-Grandma!

It was nice to have some time off and help with the kids during the day. I got to sit back and enjoy spending time with people – talking without getting interrupted.  It was lovely.

But I think my girls had the most fun playing with their Uncles…
