Hi everyone! Jessica here from Me Sew Crazy, and I am super excited to be a part of Melly’s Sundress Series. Who doesn’t love a good sundress after all???
The effortless chicness of a sundress is what has made them so popular over the years. They are by design comfortable, yet stylish. And every time you put one on, you feel fabulous.
That is why when I stumbled across this french Striped Sundress from IKKS, I simply knew I had to recreate it for my daughter…
*The original is made by a French company called IKKS and can be found HERE.
Isn’t it perfect?! What little girl wouldn’t love all of those ruffles? Made from a comfy knit, so she will be able to run around and play, yet with off kilter ruffles to give it that little extra touch.
Making the dress was pretty simple. I started with 4 T Shirts of coordinating colors, all thrifted for $1 each.
And once I had my pile, I simply…
And there you have it! A not-so-hard sundress, completely comfortable, that your child will love…
And bonus, it only cost $4 to make. Can’t beat that
.
Now enough sitting in front of the computer, time to get outside and play!
