Last week was a rather momentous week for my husband. As a southern California native Greg grew up surfing, it is one of his passions in life. And ever since Chloe was born, it has been a dream of his to teach his children surf.
Last week this dream became a reality…
Her very first wave…
There was lots of watching and cheering from the sidelines…
And of course joyous celebration over our victories…
Maddy, Ben and I played in the sand in the meantime…
While Daddy taught Chloe how to hang ten…
She did AMAZING!!! A natural born surfer I tell ya, We were all cheering and rooting and screaming from the beach!!! Including other beach goers that were so happy watching a Father teach her daughter how to surf, it was truly precious.
Of course Madeline needed to do what her big sister was doing, and had a go at it as well!
She was so proud, she did a happy dance when she was done…
It was truly a great day at the beach! We had other photos from the past week, like getting our toe nails painted, reading in forts, going to the library & park, and of course the lemonade stand…but these beach photos were just so great I decided to focus on them instead!

I just LOVE living in a beach community! We headed to Sandbridge Saturday night about an hour before sunset… Late night for our Lillian but had the best time! Father, daughter moments just make my heart melt!
