Bustle Backpack, Ombre…

Don’t you love it when someone takes something you did, and makes it even better?!!

That is what happened with my Bustle Backpack recently.

Someone contacted me through my Etsy store and asked if I could make an ombre Bustle Backpack. All I could think of was – how stinking cool is that?! And why didn’t I think of it?! Of course I could.

And seeing as how I offer the tutorial for free so you to make your own, I thought I would share that awesome tip.  Yes, you can make it in ombre too. Just use various shades of broadcloth fabric that get darker or lighter as you work your way down the rows of bustles.

Like I said – awesomeness.

So happy this order came through, I would have never thought to do that!  And just in case you are looking, the tutorial and pattern pieces for the Bustle Backpack can be found HERE.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…

Happy Sewing!
