Surprise Surprise…

I like surprises, usually.

Upon return from my trip to Salt Lake, there was something waiting for me at my sewing nook…

My husband took it upon himself to switch out my chair. I have been using this old wooden chair, which I have meant to refurb for almost a year now. But I like it because my sewing nook is in the middle of the living room, and I didn’t want a big ole office chair uglying up the space.

Well, apparently my husband is more concerned about my health (my back), then appearances. Grrr…men are so practical. Lol

The verdict is still out on this chair…

But I must admit, it is rather comfortable.

Want a good chuckle? Check out THIS post which I did almost exactly 2 years ago when I first bought Old Faithful, back in the very beginning stages of the blog.  See what I was first sewing on when we moved into our new home!  Never did get that cushion made…lol

Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…

Happy Sewing!
