Touch down…Sewing Summit

After a long day of travel, connecting flights, Starbucks, and fast food – I finally made it…Salt Lake City!

And let me just tell you, it is beautiful. The mountains are breathtaking!

First stop was Summer’s house of Sumo’s Sweet Stuff to get all the bags ready for the Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores Girl’s Night Out…

It was so much fun to finally meet Summer and her beautiful children!

With a quick turn around back to the hotel, I got to finally meet my roomie – the awesome Andrea from the Train to Crazy, and head off to the Craftsy opening dinner…

So many people!!! It was actually a bit overwhelming, I felt a little like a fish out of water. But it was so much fun.

And afterwards a small group of us headed out to dinner to a local restaurant. It was so nice to just sit and talk with these fabulous ladies!

Most of them went to the sewing area after dinner to get their sew on…but I am dead meat with a full class schedule tomorrow. So it is off to bed for me!

More goodness to come tomorrow!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…

Happy sewing!

Love the mountains here. They are amazing right now, covered with the fall leaves. And that swag bag, oh I am dying. I want one so bad. Can’t wait to hear all about it. Have so much fun!
