Introducing K.I.D.S. – the Kids Inspirations & Design Series!
A series all about empowering and encouraging your kids to dream big, and to nurture those dreams as a parent.
A while back my daughter came to me with a picture she had drawn, it was a jacket that she had designed herself. And that is when it hit me, I simply knew I needed to make this picture a reality for her. I wanted to encourage and nurture her dreams, to let her know that her creations were validated and esteemed in my eyes! I will be sharing my interpretation of Chloe’s design during the Series, but in the meantime you have an incredible line up of Guest Posters to look forward to!
All women with children of the right age, that want to share in their children’s dreams…

How fun – we that all the time at home – I’ve made a lot of clothes with the inspiration from my girls’ drawings. Last Christmas I even had to make my neighbor girl a dress she drew.

That sounds amazing! I am actually working on a project with Gabe right now because he had an idea for a tee shirt and just wouldn’t let it go. What a beautiful idea to inspire us all to create more with our kids!
Great idea! I have many, many drawings to work with. What are “kids of the right age?” I’ve got collected drawings from my daughter aged 4 up to 12.5.
Oh, this is going to be so much fun! My oldest is just now getting big enough to be excited when I’m sewing something for her, I can’t wait until she can design things for me to make. =)

Exciting! I always try my best to encourage Vincent’s imagination and his dreams, and I’m sure that one day he’ll look back and see and appreciate all I have done for him! This sounds like a fantastic series!
So much fun I’m super excited so see what everyone has planned for the series! My nieces actually drew up a dress recently too that I want to make. I wish I had been watching them though since their pictures look ahem the same so I’m not sure who’s dream dress it actually is
