I am so excited to have Angelina of Ruby Jeans as a guest today for K.I.D.S.! As a mother of 5 children (possibly 6 by the time this is posting!), she is an absolute inspiration to me.

Angelina’s vintage style and gorgeous photographs are pure eye candy, I am always wowed when she puts out something new. The time and attention to details she puts into every project is simply amazing…

Being the astute observer that I am (ha!), I noticed that Angelina happened to have an 8 year old daughter who was the perfect age for this challenge! Yeah!!! And when she sent me her guest post, I was over the moon for their teamwork creation. So without further ado, I would like to introduce you to Angelina of Ruby Jeans

I was thrilled when Jessica asked me to be a a part of the KIDS series that she was creating.
I knew that I would have no trouble in getting our 8 yr old on board for the challenge, she quickly took to her drawing paper and began sketching away. I must admit I was a tad bit NERVOUS as to what she would come up with, after all I was going to have to replicate this image or at least TRY. ( she is one that carries quite the IMAGINATION!!! ) So there was no telling what was going to show up on this blank canvas piece of a paper. It could of been a Space Suite that would have sent her to the Moon or a 20,000 Leagues under the sea Scuba Diving set.

I was pleasantly surprised and breathed a BIG deep sigh of relief when I saw this Adorable image come forth.

” I Would Survive The Challenge”

She was so VERY excited when she finished her drawing and couldn’t wait for it to become a Wearable piece of Art.

Jessie~Mae was there every step of the way, helping and watching this outfit come together.

Both of our girls LOVE taking part in sewing and making things for themselves and their dolls. I LOVED that this Series offered a FRESH and EXCITING way to get behind the sewing machine with my daughter and make Sweet and Lasting memories that I hope will Inspire her as she continues on her journey of Creativity.

f you are interested in making your own Rainbow Skirt be sure to stop in over at, Shoprubyjean.com and check out the step by step tutorial.

I also share how we made the Puffy Cloud shirt. Because you know she couldn’t just have regular clouds, they had to be PUFFY and I mean PUFFY!!!

SSSHHHHH!!!! don’t tell her, but when she wasn’t looking I removed a little bit of the PUFF and even still those Clouds make quite the statement.

I do hope that isn’t considered Cheating :)

Thank you again Jessica for including us in this most Adventurous and Fun Series.

Seriously, that has got to be the cutest thing ever Angelina!!  I absolutely love what you two came up with! Thank you so much for being here!
