Naturally I needed something awesome to carry all of the brand new business cards I am undoubtedly picking up at ALT Summit right now. And who can resist doilies and linen?
There are lots of tutorials out there showing how to make Kiss Clutches right now, so I wont reinvent the wheel here. I used the Moda Bake Shop tutorial, which shows you how to make two different styles of the snap purse.
Attaching the doily is simply a matter of stopping in the middle of the tutorial, right after you have sewing your exterior fabrics together, and sewing on the doily…
I love Kiss Closure Clutches, because they really do come together fast. The hardest part is waiting for the glue to dry! I also like to use cotton batting in the middle of the exterior and lining, to give the bag a little more weight (not so flippy floppy – coining that, lol).
Lord, please let this kiss clutch purse overfloweth!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…
Happy Sewing!

A great idea, I definitely want to try to make one too.
I linked this post in my blog, I hope you do not mind (in this case, let me know).
