So yesterday I went through what was awesome about Alt Summit. Today I will talk about my favorite part of the whole trip – the WAY MORE AWESOME part, the part that was not Alt Summit.
Where we got to relax and unwind and just be our silly selves with our sewing silly buds!!!
A small group of friends organized a lunch where we could get together, meet up, and laugh. And I was blessed to be able to be a part of it. And let me just tell you, these ladies are the awesomest. I love them all!

|
| Miriam from MadMim, Emily from Replicate then Deviate |
|
|
| Amy from This Heart of Mine, Amy from Naptime Crafters |
|
|
| Tori of Sassy Steals, Delia of Delia Creates |
|
|
| Miriam, Sachiko of Tea Rose Home, Miranda of One Little Minute |
And we even got to help Miranda celebrate a 30th Birthday!!!
I love them all, and this was by far the highlight of my trip! Anything where I can just relax, unwind, and truly be myself around people that I know love me for who I am. Where I am not worried about handing out my business card – ha!
It doesn’t get better than that! I just wish more of you could be there!!!
My dream? A day when all of us crafty divas live in some pre-fab sewing / crafty community together and Martha is the president of the association. HA! Love you guys!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…
Happy Sewing!

Looks like a blast! It’s so true how much nicer and relaxing it is to be past the business card handing out stage and just hang out

It WAS SO FUN. I never wanted it to end and in fact it went by too fast! I loved meeting you!
I loved meeting you too Delia! Was so much fun! You are just as beautiful in person as you are on the blog! Such a treat
I agree with Delia, it was so fun…we didn’t want it to end either, which is probably why we were all still standing around in the lobby after everyone left!
