Spring Fever Remix

This past week I had the honor of having the Spring Fever Dress pattern used for the remix challenge over at Project Run & Play.

This was actually a rather sentimental challenge for me, as the Spring Fever dress means so much to me.

It was one of the first designs I ever came up with, from start to finish, all in the middle of an early morning jog. One of the first patterns I ever drafted, one of the first tutorials I ever shared on my blog, one of the first posts I ever diligently added to link parties, which therefore led to one of the first things from my blog to ever be featured. I still remember the dance I did around my living room when the very first big blogger mentioned my work – thank you House of Hepworths for that!

The Spring Fever dress is where it all started for me, so seeing it come to Project Run & Play as a remix is almost a little like coming full circle with it.

And let me just tell you, the bloggers that played along were AMAZING!!!

Mingo & Grace || The Powell Family || Zafarani || Falafal and the Bee

And that is just a sneak peak at the awesomeness!!! You can see the entire list of those who participated here. I found myself checking in on Project Run & Play a couple of times each day just to see what else had been added. The talent never ceases to amaze me.
Unfortunately, there could only be one winner…
But the details in this dress by Tess of Dive In absolutely blew me away. You need to hop on over and check out her blog post that explains it all…even if it was a bit of a challenge for her :)
Thank you so much to all who played, I thoroughly enjoyed checking out each and every entry, and reading your blog posts. It touched my heart so much, I was so blessed.
Be sure to hop on over to the link party to see all of the entries that were made at Project Run & Play! They were simply incredible.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and until next time…
Happy Sewing!
